Best Practices

Different elements that can be included in shoppable creative are:

  • Products
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Testimonials
  • Social Media content

When planning a shoppable creative, consider the product or products that should be highlighted in the creative. For a shoppable featuring a single product, what should show if the product goes out of stock? For a video with multiple products, will each product have a hotspot?

Tabs in Shoppable Video Creative

If you are planning a shoppable creative that will feature more than just shoppable products, the additional content will live on separate tabs within the video overlay. These tabs can feature other videos, image carousels, product hotspots, testimonials or social media content.

We suggest using as little text as possible to allow your branding, imagery and video to shine. Keep copy as close to the following suggestions:

  • Headline (100 characters)
  • Additional copy (100 characters)

If you would like to include more text than suggested, consider animating to break up the content and allow the user to process smaller pieces of information, always ending with the CTA.

We recommend a CTA with no more than 20 characters and to keep the CTA visible at all times so the user is encouraged to click through.
